This is my Grandma. Her birthday was June 20th and I found this photo of her and recolored it. I restored the pic about a year ago but never did anything to the background. It will be 3 years this July 14th since she's been dead. My Mom says, and I agree with her, that it doesnt get any easier. I still miss her just as much as I did the day she died. I decided to call it 'The Perfect Rose' because she loved roses.
She reminds me a lot of my Grandma...she passed away, gosh, 3 years in April. Time flies...
She was 90 and had been battling Parkinson's Disease for years and years. But she had a wicked funny sense of humor...when people introduced her and my Grandfather she'd joke and call themselves "shake and bake" (he used to be a chef on a Naval Ship as well as for their church camp). I miss her terribly. Even though I was a rotten grandchild and didn't write nearly as much as I should have...
what a great idea to restore her photo. She's beautiful. Yo did a great job.

Thanks for reading my comment. I took the time regarding the picture of your grandmother. She is beautiful and I like her smiling. I am impressed of your sensitiv soul. I wish you good luck, think positiv.
She's beautiful Erick. You did a wonderful job. What a great way to show your love for here. I wish I could find a decent picture of my baby sister. It was three years in April since she passed also.

This almost made me cry. Beautiful picture and beautiful woman. I'm glad you're keeping her spirit alive. I love all the old pictures like this. My grandma liked roses as well.
